(1 votes, average: 5.00 out of 5)I am an urologist-andrologist with 28 years of medical experience. Through the years, I worked in a number of leading medical institutions of Armenia. Also, for more than 20 years, I carried out scientific and pedagogical activity at the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi. I undertook numerous professional trainings at the leading clinics both in Armenia and abroad. I am an active member of the Armenian Association of Urology, European Association of Urology and Russian Association of Oncological Urology.

Dr. Sahakyan specializes in urology-andrology and a wide range of procedures with 28 years of experience, including:

- Different types of urinary disorders
- Prostate diseases
- Infertility
- Various men’s sexual dysfunctions
- Oncological and inflammatory diseases of men and women’s genitourinary system
I obtained PhD in Urology in 2002, focusing on the topic of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Through these years, I have also published 34 scientific articles, co-authored 3 educational manuals, 2 scientific collections and 1 educational textbook.

In parallel to the surgical and conservative urology, I also received education in management in healthcare sector. Thus, I was the director of Center of Dermatology and STIS of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia (2014 – 2020). Since 2022, I am the head doctor of the “Soldier’s Home” Rehabilitation Center.
